ketterЗЗЗ, односезонный мини-сериал из 12 серий, что неясно?

У меня большие проблемы с английским. Не совсем разбираюсь, что там написано:

Врядли только ради 12 эпизодов они будут так широко развивать вселенную и с обирать старую "команду Аватара"-разработчиков. Скорее всего выпустят сначала 12 эпизодов, посмотрят на рейтинги и продолжат (?). Так же вроде часто делают с сериалами. (?). Если бы фильм пошел на большое ура, то небось, сразу бы объявили о полноценном мульсериале.

Вы самое главное не поняли: что ещё больше года ждать и что покажут смерть Аанга (!).

Осенью следующего года - это просто ужас. Весной 2011 было бы в самый раз. После такого большого перерыва от первого мультсериала.

А Аанга, небось убили... Ведь бунт против магов. И впрямь, все Аватары жили по 100 лет, а Аанг неожиданно умер на 80. Отговорки типа он исчерапал свою аватарскую силу в айсберге не считаются, потому что - глупо. Да, да B) Просто Майк и Брайн не хотят раскрывать все карты.

Вообще с такой вселенной классный сюжет продолжения Аватар: Легенда об Аанге без особых усилий сам вырисовывается. Можно рисовать и третьего аватара, и первую мировую впихнуть, и аватара в современном мире и т.п. Это как комиксы марвел.

Слава богу, прочитал что ATLA тоже изначально была утверждена на 13 эпизодов, то есть до серии, в которой синий дух спасает Аанга от заключения. И потом продолжили добавив 7 серий до полного сезона. Что очень хорошо, т.к сезон не скомкали в 13 эпизодов.
Так что всё путём. Это необходимые меры безопасности производства. Одно только: жаль что дата выхода аж осенью 2011. Это ппц, слишком долго.

Обратите внимание что на крыше на решётке виден иероглиф. Реклама скорее всего. Раньше его там не было

Давайте немного посчитаем. Действие сие творения происходит через 70 лет. Значит Аангу должно быть 82 года. Корра - новый Аватар, следовательно Аанг умер. Когда? Во сколько лет? Новому Аватару объявляют, что он Аватар в 16 лет. А поскольку Корра уже знакома с тремя стихиями (вода, земля, огонь) и она не Аанг, который является в некотором роде вундеркиндом в силу обстоятельств, то ей должно быть около двадцати лет. Значит Аанг умер в возрасте 62 лет... Если учесть, что король Буми прожил больше 110 лет и сохранил свою энергию и силу, которая хватит ему еще на десяток лет как минимум, то Аанг прожил удительно мало. Что с ним стало??????? Катара довела? (шутка)

Если сейчас у нас новый Аватар, это значит Аанг уже умер. Если он умер где-то в 70, это разве не рановато для Аватаров?

Очень натянутая отмазка, думаю, чтобы не раскрывать все карты. Наверняка Аанг как-то геройски погиб (как и Року, которому тоже можно было еще жить да жить: аватар Киоши, согласно манге (хотя не знаю, насколько это верифицировано Брайками), вообще прожила 230 лет).

I was lucky enough to meet Mike and Bryan at this year's Comic Con. I had time for 2 questions.

Question 1:
I asked them if there would be guns in Korra, due to the presence of steampunk. They said "No, we want to avoid going down that road as much as possible."
No guns!

Question 2 (non Korra):
I asked them about the possibility of a blu-ray release for ATLA. They said there would be far too much work to pull off a blu-ray release. They said not to wait for it because it probably wont happen.

Then Dee Bradley Baker came and did a whole bunch of animal sounds and talked a bit about Korra. He will be a part of that production (yay!) but, understandably, could offer no other details. Well, actually, he did mention a few things, like that one of the Korra episodes had been recorded already, and that the new voice actor cast is full-stop awesome, but that was it.

Andrea also happens to be the voice/casting director for The Legend of Korra, which according to the discussion, is already in the progress of voice recording.

TZN: Will you be working on the new Avatar: The Last Airbender series?

ANDREA ROMANO: I already am. I’ve recorded three episodes. It's seventy five years in the future.

TZN: Will Aang in any way be in the series?

ANDREA ROMANO: I don’t know how much of the series I’m allowed to tell you, but that whole generation has died. It’s the next generation. So it’s really cool. It’s the same producers. It’s the same brilliant attention to detail and I’m very excited. Right now we are just making twelve of them and we’ll see what happens.

Matt Patches: I know that the Airbender follow up isn't until 2011, have you guys started chatting about that with everybody and preparing to work on that show?

Jeremy Zuckerman: A little bit, very briefly. A very brief stylistic conversation. We really don't know too much.

Patches: I know Mike and Bryan had a few conversations with people at Comic-Con about where the show is going, it's seventy-five years down the line and takes place in a metropolis big city. So I was very curious about, as of right now before you dive in, where stylistically it will be going and the evolution of the music as time has passed in this world. From your point of view, how is this show going to change from the original?

Zuckerman: When we talked to them about how they were pitching this show, we thought it was a great idea because it was a way to continue the story with all new characters and you kind of see how those other characters influenced this world. It's pretty genius, you know? We talked very briefly about the music and it seems exciting because it sounded like they wanted the environment of this big city to influence the music of it. I think I remember Bryan mentioning industrial or somehow it sounded like we might be able to use some of our electronic...know how or whatever...to enter it into some the score, which sounded pretty cool. That was a long time ago when we had the conversation so I'm not sure if that still really applies, but I think at the very least the industrial nature of that city is going to influence the music some how.

Benjamin Wynn: There's also something about referencing the sort of feeling of the roaring 20's because it's sort of around that period I guess. Is it, is it not? We don't know.

Zuckerman: It sort of sounds like it's going to be around the industrial revolution.

Wynn: Right, and so it's like, how do you use the Roaring Twenties with an Asian feel? It'll be an interesting challenge. That's one of the ideas that have been thrown on the table. Who knows what will actually happen in the end, but it was one of things that Bryan mentioned and seemed like an interesting idea. It's not like these traditional instruments will be abandoned but I'm sure the instrumentation will be different. It all really depends on the storyline and the motions that we need to convey.

Patches: Story comes first.

Zuckerman: Exactly.

Patches: Music to my ears. Are you guys going back to work soon or are you kinda of just waiting for...I don't know, has Bryan come over to your room and told you to start writing?

Wynn: No, [laughs] we each got places of our own.

Patches: Congratulations! So is there a time table?

Zuckerman: I think we start post-production early next year. The cool thing is that it's going to be twelve episodes...

Patches: Right, only a mini series.

Zuckerman: Right, I think it will be very tight and emotionally compact and probably pretty deep because of the...

Wynn: Yeah I think that's a really good thing. It'll probably be really cool.
