В Штатах этот сериал повторил судьбу Firefly - выпущен Фоксом, обласкан критикой, дурной маркетинг - закрыт после третьего сезона, преданные поклонники по всему миру и слухи о полнометражном фильме.

 
Сериал рассказывает о семье Блутов - глава семейства в первой же серии попадает за решетку за растрату и оставляет дисфункциональную семью на плечах среднего сына - похоже, единственного здравомыслящего человека в семье. И все это с комментариями Рона Говарда (да, того самого). Сериал получил 10 Эмми (за три года!), плюс россыпь остальных призов включая Золотой глобус. Великолепные актеры (особенно Тони Хейл в роли Бастера и Дэвид Кросс в роли Тобайаса Функе)
